We have started the PTA 24/25 team!
The PTA has been running for 2 full years and we keep getting better. Now we have started year 3 we have made some big changes, including this website.
We hope that by using this site it will be easier for parents and carers to access PTA event information and payments with out needing to go through the school reception team. We love the school team but we don't want to add to their workload anymore.
The new PTA Admin Team is shown in the image and we still have some vacancy's for the Admin roles. Please contact us if you would like more information on these roles.
Our amazing members
We have some amazing parents and carers that help out at events, however we need more members at our meetings. It is so important that we have Meeting Members so that we can vote appropriately for different things such as items to donate to school and events. At the end of this academic year we will be loosing half of our Meeting Members as their children move on to secondary school. Without more in attendance we wont be able to keep up with all we have planned. During meetings there is always some form of cake available with tea and coffee and we have the opportunity to go to the local pub in the future. We always try to make meetings as accessible as possible so you can attend in person or via zoom.

Our very popular Non Uniform Days will be held once per half term and will cost £1 or a donation of chocolate to our chocolate tombolas. Parents have suggested that we include donations of chocolate in our Non Uniform Days and we have listened.

Our 2nd Christmas Fair will be held on 30th November after last years amazing success. We raised £670 in 2023, lets see if we can beat that in 2024!
We will also continue with our in school Christmas Shop as the children love it. Both of these events need volunteers to run smoothly.

We will be hosting 2 discos this academic year, one at Christmas and another at the end of the school year. Discos are very popular and we need parents to help us keep running these by volunteering.

We will be trying out a Careers Week which is still in the early stages of planning. our aim is to have a week filled with talks from different parents/friends telling the children about their jobs. We are also hoping to include Mini First Aid Training and talks from emergency services.

Parents asked and we have listened. We are in the early stages of planning an Adult Quiz Night to remember. We are hoping for an amazing venue, with prizes and hopefully a raffle.

We have 2 Chocolate Tombolas planned. One at Christmas and one in the summer. These are very popular and can help the PTA raise a few hundred pounds at each event.

Please remember to save all your plastic bottle tops and donate them to school. Children can put them in the donation bin at school.
SchoolCycle have been providing schools with furniture, play equipment, signage and bins made from their own recycled waste to reward the children’s participation.
